Rides 2015
JUNE 2015 RIDE AT HEDDINGTON
The Heddington ride was attended by 60 riders who explored the bridleways between Heddington and Cherill along part of the Wessex Way and around Morgans Hill, and included access through National Trust land in front of the Cherill White Horse.
The weather was perfect for enjoying the panoramic views and photos with the Cherill White Horse.
Apart from a few markers disappearing overnight the ride seemed to be a great success, the youngest riders and unmounted mums did all 10miles and enjoyed treats and drinks at the monument.
Organising this ride was a huge task and I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful friends and family, it took all day to mark the route on Saturday and they still came back on Sunday to steward and open the bridlepath gates for riders. Thank you to those WBA members who helped with road crossing and stewarding.
